Some mornings, I walk out back to water the garden and the flowers and I just have to stop because the mornings are lovely and quiet, and only the flowers are singing, and there’s sort of a hidden reverence out there. I start to think Georgia O’Keeffe may have been one of the wisest women who ever lived. She once said,
“Nobody sees a flower really. To see takes time, like to have a friend takes time.”
Stop a minute. Look at the flowers. Be a friend. Take some time…
